      How I Stopped Masturbating

Basically, online porn addiction is an obsessive relationship with pornography.  Sometimes the overwhelming dependency began as an inquisitive query or as a curious fantasy to encourage masturbation, but the condition can escalate into a serious career-threatening obsession in no time.  Online porn addiction is not compulsive masturbation or latent promiscuity but it is often a secretive pursuit that creeps into the home, the school and the workplace.

Think about this.  Hollywood produces 400 films per year.  The porn industry turn out 11,000 porn videos in the same time frame.  Surprisingly, porn addiction is not gender specific.  One in every six….read more

On April 24th, the U.S. Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) released a startling report from the SEC Inspector General, Senator Charles Grassley.  The report identified 31 separate cases of employees who had clearly violated SEC regulations regarding the use of SEC computers to view online pornographic and sexually explicit materials.  The investigation was initiated in 2007.

members of a 2,000 all-male congregation to stand if they were struggling with porn addiction.  20% of those in attendance then arose.  The minister waited and asked again for the congregation to respond in truth.  Amazingly 70% of the congregation stood.

What is it that drives our untamed pursuit of these sexual fantasies?  Whatever it is, it is powerful, it is addicting and it is a dangerous dependency that too often ends in tragic circumstances.  Porn addiction is often symptomatic of other forms of sexual addiction, including masturbation addiction.  In fact, 72 percent of respondents to the Kinsey Institute said….read more

Mankind did not always have addiction centers to provide treatment for masturbation addiction.  Throughout all religions and cultures, the topic has been observed for thousands of years.  And, different approaches have been taken to address the timeless condition that has ridden a wave of online porn addiction into a serious dependency problem.
